Real life wisps

Description

From a digital doodle to a real life figure. Both are super poseable and roughly the size of baseballs.
The white one:
  • Is the very first one. the body and paws are made of clay.
  • The hair is glued in.But the skin if you would handle it, would feel like a dry scalp.
  • The ears are not visible as they were made too small.Shrug
  • As I was molding the body I wondered what to do with the mouth. In the end I shaped it out and placed the hair in a certain way and it works well.

The tri-colored wisp:
  • Named Experiment #13. from my Story on Qoutev
  • Even though both have made appearances before in my art but 13 has his own drawings in the wisp gallery. (They only one so far to make solo appearances as Wisps normally come in groups.)
  • Followed the same design as the first but the only difference is the body is felted from wool and hair was poked in. I quickly learned that the needle is not fun to poke yourself with. I practiced a bit before tackling this project, though I am glad I did.
  • The ears on this one is still to small. I hope to improve on it when making the next one.Wink
  • The fact that no glue or clay was involved in this wisp is a major improvement when handling it. The wisps feels exactly like a real one should if they were to exist.

All and all they are a pleasure to have around my work table. capable of holding onto ledges and cuddling.

A kind Samaritan Gave me helpful tips on camera work. I am grateful for her input. Please check out bluediscord's site, She is very talented and skilled artist.
